Daniel's homework: Homework for Wednesday (POEM)<body>

Wednesday, May 31, 2006

In 1492,
Columbus sailed the ocean blue
(Ferdinand and Isabella backed him too)
his sight stayed strong and true
(He lied to all his crew)
And land soon they knew
though his ship went askew

And land soon they knew
but the land was taboo
And Indians were run through
Columbus said adieu
And left forty men from his crew

"and brought slaves galore
to his old spanish shore"

and made himself more well to do

He went back anew
with a much bigger crew
(to 1,500 men it grew)
and he slayed all the sioux
to make a colony or two.

With Francesco Pizarro--u
he wanted gold more than you
and the Inca's, he knew
had more than their due
so he gave them their due

and in the smallpox blew
and many souls flew
(it was worse than bird flu!)

Stop the agony of bad jokes and puns!
