But when I listened to it carefully for the first time, I understood that A New World is just what They want. A new world can stand for anything! I think that the lyrics of this song are about how life creates ups and down that you have to face to be able to find "A New World" or your heart's desire. The song says that when you "know where you stand" then you really have just started the long journey to getting what you want! To clarify my point before, the message says something like this: Though disaster might strike, keep going strong and you will finally reach what you believe in... "But then the earthquake hits And after you have faced your challenges you will have to face them again, and again... But you will now know how to face them.

Good job on your reflection, and one more time, as I have said on all my comment posts, I have never heard of this song. But it seems to be a meaningfull one so I might listen to it someday.
Your reflection on the song was sort of short so next time you might want to make it longer. I liked how you quoted the song and used them to make understanding the song easier. You did well on this assingment.
